Ange and I are making a special trip to WDW for the holiday season.\u00c2\u00a0 I have a special surprise for her (half a Christmas gift for her, half something I want to do), that I can’t reveal here, just in case.\u00c2\u00a0 But the plan as known:<\/p>\n
Sunday, November 28: <\/strong>Fly down from Hartford, and take Magical Express to Pop Century.\u00c2\u00a0 Then head over to Hollywood Studios for the afternoon and evening.\u00c2\u00a0 Ange is very excited about seeing the new Lotso meet-and-greet, from Toy Story 3.\u00c2\u00a0 And of course we have to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. UPDATE<\/em><\/strong> This trip has been extended for 3 days, due to my having a floating holiday for Christmas this year. So I’m taking Friday December 3 off, and we have a new 3-night reservation at All Star Movies. We have pretty much nothing planned for these extra three nights, we’re just going to take them as they come.<\/p>\n
\nMonday, November 29: <\/strong>Epcot in the morning.\u00c2\u00a0 After hitting all the big attractions, we’ll walk out the International Gateway and tour the Epcot-area resorts to look at the holiday decorations.\u00c2\u00a0 We’re especially interested in seeing the Gingerbread carousel at Beach Club.\u00c2\u00a0 Then back to Epcot for the evening to see some story tellers, have dinner at Le Cellier, and enjoy the Candlelight Processional.\u00c2\u00a0 The evening ends with IllumiNations with the special holiday tag.
\nTuesday, November 30: <\/strong>Magic Kingdom in the morning.\u00c2\u00a0 After hitting all the big attractions, we’ll do the monorail loop of the MK-area hotels.\u00c2\u00a0 Of special interest here is the Gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian.\u00c2\u00a0 Then perhaps we’ll take water launches to see how Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge decorate for Christmas.\u00c2\u00a0 Then back to the MK that afternoon to see the Muppets pre-parade, and in the evening for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
\nWednesday, December 1:<\/strong> Animal Kingdom.\u00c2\u00a0 We have to make sure we see the Mickey’s Jingle Jungle parade.\u00c2\u00a0 After the park closes, we’re going over to Animal Kingdom Lodge to see the decorations there and to have dinner at Boma.
\nThursday, December 2:<\/strong> I have to fly back in the morning, as I actually have to work a half day when I get home (0 vacation hours left…).\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t know what Ange will be doing that day, but she’ll fly back home later in the evening.<\/p>\n
