I shocked my sister Amanda by informing her that we’d be taking another Disney vacation. This year, she and I will be sailing on the Disney Dream on a 5-night Bahamas cruise. This cruise will be departing from Port Canaveral on Tuesday, August 16th. It will then pull into Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, on Wednesday. On Thursday is a day-at-sea. Then on Friday, we’ll be in Nassau (where we may or may not even get off the ship). On Saturday, we’ll be going BACK to Castaway Cay for a double-dip. Then we return to Port Canaveral on Sunday.
Amanda is insanely excited about the trip, and has already started looking into all the various activities and events on the ship and on the island. She can’t wait to try out the Teen Club, the Vibe. I had such a blast on the Dream earlier this year that I can’t wait to get back on it in August as well.
