Yesterday (Saturday, January 11, 2014), the new tapas-style restaurant in Morocco finally opened, and I made a visit to Epcot to check it out. “Spice Road Table” is a very small restaurant, sitting on the lagoon side of the Morocco pavilion. Its primary feature is going to be the fact that it sits on the water front, offering guests decent-to-good viewings of the lagoon during IllumiNations.
Epcot’s DiveQuest
I have taken the DiveQuest tour at Epcot twice so far, with a third time scheduled for this December. This tour is for certified SCUBA divers, in The Seas with Nemo pavilion. The entire experience is 3 hours, including an actual dive time of 40 minutes in the tank. Here is my description and review of the tour, including some pictures and video.
Discovery Cove – Orlando’s Hidden Gem
Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to visit a new-to-me attraction here in Orlando – Discovery Cove. I was blown away. From 7am to 5pm, my girlfriend and I had an amazing day. It’s true that the price tag is a little higher than a single day ticket to the more well-known Orlando parks and resorts, but it is 100% worth it. The day was packed with experiences I’d never had before, that made me ridiculously happy all day long. If you have an extra day in your Orlando vacation itinerary (and a lot of extra cash in your budget), I cannot recommend Discovery Cove highly enough.
