This summer, Walt Disney World is launching a program they call “Summer Nightastic”. They’ve already announced or revealed several parts of this program. There will be new fireworks, extended hours at the Animal Kingdom, and the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade. They’ve also announced “new effects” at the Tower of Terror in DHS. Until yesterday, however, they declined to reveal what those new effects would be. Yesterday, they held a media event at the parks, and apparently revealed at least some of what these new effects will be.
This leaves me with a decision to make. The Tower of Terror is by far my favorite attraction in all of WDW. So the fact that they’re making any changes or enhancements to it is very very exciting. The question is: Do I want to find out what these new effects and enhancements are now, or do I want to be surprised when I see them in person during my next WDW vacation in 44 days? Perhaps that should be phrased a little differently: Will I have the willpower to not look at the information online for 44 whole days?
Similarly, Disney’s California Adventure is launching a gigantic new nighttime show, called the World of Color. While there have been previews all over the Internet, including Disney’s own sites, I have so far remained successful at avoiding watching them. That one I definitely do want to be surprised. That trip, however, is still another 98 days away. That’s a LONG time to avoid the spoilers. Gaahhhhh.
I think you should wait to be surprised!!! It will add to the excitement all the more!!!
Hehehehe. I wouldn’t know what to do either.
